Directors
In 1999 Simon Holbrook and David Irvine founded
Slinkylinks Ltd. Adopting a cable design developed by New Zealand
scientists; they set about adapting this technology for home audio
markets.
Slinkylinks are proudly designed, manufactured
and marketed exclusively in New Zealand.
Other than working relentlessly to produce Slinkylinks,
David can be found yacht racing on the very changeable Wellington
harbour. Any spare time is more than occupied by his family –
Natalia aged 13 and Alex aged two.
David has a construction and production management
background and drives Slinkylinks factory and headquarters.
Simon can occasionally be found mixing it up in
New Zealand Masters rowing. He lives an active lifestyle and loves
eating hot Indian curries with his girlfriend Liz.
Simon is qualified in management and marketing,
and has been involved with tertiary management education.
Both Directors share a common passion for all forms
of music and hi-fi audio reproduction.
This has extended to New Zealand’s professional
recording industry, where Slinkylinks openly sponsor several burgeoning
music artists, prominent groups and recording studios.
