3-Step Process: Minimise metal
Our studies of destructive cable distortion
lead us to focus on the detrimental effects of capacitance.
Capacitance is created through conductive
materials like metal running in parallel together. This
becomes a problem as some dielectric has to exist between
the metal surfaces.
The dielectric absorbs and re-releases energy
in either a non-linear or time delayed fashion. This can
then be clearly heard as distortion.
Large metal plugs and large conductors create
greater capacitances which in turn creates greater distortion.
Subjectively, reducing the amount of metal
in components will give cleaner and more detailed bass as
well as an increase in the magnitude of bass notes. More
clarity and detail will emerge in the treble range.
Slinkylinks ultra-thin conductors reduce
capacitive effects. Our testing of pure silver extrusions
concluded the thinner the wire the better the sound. With
each successively thinner extrusion the sound improved more
within the audible frequencies. Our silver is the thinnest
we can have extruded that still gives a practical strength
to the completed cable. Again the closest thing to no cable
proved to be the best cable.
0.25mm 99.9999% pure silver conductors are
optimal for transporting and delivering audio signals.
Eichmann Bullet Plugs have been selected
for their sonic superiority and minimal metal content. They
combine brilliantly with our proprietary cable design and
complete an elite product.
