"I am seriously blown away by the difference Slinkylinks cables make to the performance & frequency response of even an average quality stereo.

I completely agree to everything “Jazzy-D” wrote on the performance of the Slinkylinks cables.

I worked for many years as a sound mixer/producer for bands performing live & in the recording studio environment. I mixed down bands in high quality studios and also used many big PA systems in large auditoriums and outdoor venues.

The PA systems, by merit of being large, powerful (over 100kw) & recording studios, (both) having active signal processing (crossovers, 1/3 octave EQ etc.) tend to have a much better performance & frequency response than even high quality stereos. So I know what the audio “should“ sound like.

With Slinkylinks added to my stereo I felt the performance of the stereo especially the frequency range and quality of response was closer to what I would expect in a live environment than I have ever experienced with a stereo. This, without active signal processing, lots & lots of watts & several truck loads of speakers. (Though I’d really like to try Slinkylinks with a system with a three or four band active crossover, 31 band EQ’s & all the other signal processing in a big PA system).

Most acoustic engineers I have spoken to don’t appreciate the cables until they hear them and do a comparison to the standard copper cables. They rubbish them because we all read the same text books that list the resistances of conductive materials and on paper it does not look like silver should be that much better than copper. However, once the cables are listened to there is no argument.

It is amazing how much of an improvement these cables make. The increase in frequency response & clarity makes one wonder why copper is used at all in mid to high-end audio systems.

Finally, the price is awesome. Slinkylinks cables are competitively priced next to high end copper cables (that make no noticeable difference to the audio) and I have heard that to buy a better cable, (one that is only very slightly better in some aspects) you need to spend $US10,000 a set…… The choice is clear, crystal clear.

Keep up the awesome work guys!!!"
